AK Bell Library

This venue offers versatile spaces to cater for a variety of meetings and events. The purpose-built Soutar Theatre, with a capacity of 125, is ideal for presentations, lectures and performances and, for more intimate or flexible events, there is a variety of spaces which can be adapted for boardroom meetings, workshops or training sessions.  With AV facilities, free Wifi and onsite parking available, this venue has everything you need.

AK Bell Library is a Grade A listed building which was designed by Perth architect William Macdonald Mackenzie.  Originally an infirmary until 1914, it has also been a hospital for WW1 soldiers, a tuberculosis centre and offices for Perth Education Authority before reopening in 1994 as AK Bell Library.

Perth Art Gallery

If you are looking for a unique venue hire, Perth Art Gallery will give a striking first impression to your guests. Our lecture hall provides flexible space for meetings and workshops and can accommodate up to 90 guests in a theatre-style setting.  Or why not hire this venue after hours for your exclusive use?  With a capacity of 150, the Foyer and Sculpture Court provide the perfect space for drinks receptions and networking events.

Perth Art Gallery is a landmark building in the centre of Perth dating from 1824.  Designed by David Morison, it is one of the oldest purpose-built museum buildings in the United Kingdom and houses both the Art Gallery and Museum’s collection of over half a million artistic and historic objects within its stores.

Perth Museum

As well as being a 5-star visitor attraction, the museum offers a unique venue for private or corporate events with spaces available for hire in the evening. Our versatile space on the top floor is perfect for drinks receptions and can also be transformed into an intimate private dining space for up to 36 guests.  This can be complemented with highlight tours of our galleries and access to our latest exhibitions.

Perth Museum is a world class cultural and heritage attraction that showcases the history and stories of Perth and Kinross.  Housed in an Edwardian building, this historic venue was transformed into a major visitor attraction by award-winning architects Mecanoo as part of a £27 million redevelopment project.  It opened its doors in March 2024.
