A warning – do not be hungry whilst reading the following mouthwatering Perthshire food and drink agenda! Your clients should get ready for total indulgence, but a visit that stimulates the mind as well as the palate.
3 Day Perthshire Food and Drink Incentive: Day One

Travel from Edinburgh airport or city centre on a luxury coach
Entering Perth and Kinross, a convenient stop at the fascinating ‘Gin Laboratory’ in Kinross – a micro-distillery where, under the expert tutelage of the owner, your group can make their very own gin. After creating a ‘typical’ dry gin, and another using their chosen flavour profile, attendees are ‘let loose’ to create their very own gin – could it be the next one to storm the market?
Presented with a small bottle of their own gin as a takeaway gift, the group can explore the pretty Kinross town centre of individual shops and coffee shops if desired, before resuming the journey.
Check in to Crieff Hydro Hotel, and get ready for a delicious locally-sourced meal in the informal ‘Terrace’ eatery – where the bar’s large selection of gins from Scotland and further afield can be pitted against their own creations!

3 Day Perthshire Food and Drink Incentive: Day Two

Delicious Scottish breakfast at Crieff Hydro, before the group sets off to explore Perthshire’s foodie delights.
Reached via the dramatic scenery of the ‘Sma’ Glen’, Errichel Farm is the first port of call, where the group will enjoy a tour of the farm and a chance to feed its ethically-reared animals, and hear the entertaining stories of running a low-intensity hill-farm in the stunning vistas of Highland Perthshire. Attendees will then be seated for a delicious tasting of cheeses, both from the locality, and all over Scotland. The tasting is enhanced with chutney made by Paul Newman, Chef Patron of Errichel, who is also happy to chat about his work at the venue. Known as ‘Where field meets fork’, Errichel’s stunning vistas will need to be captured by the group before their journey continues!
Heading down the hill into picturesque Aberfeldy, the group will then visit renowned Distillery, Dewar’s Aberfeldy, where they will tour the distillery, to learn all about the creation of the delicious single malt that also forms the backbone of the world-renowned ‘Dewar’s’ blend. In keeping with the ‘making’ theme, attendees will then don the jacket of a Master Blender, and create their own blended Scotch, taking away a small bottle.
The famed ‘Highland Chocolatier’ in Grandtully is the next stop, to taste the multi-award winning chocolate truffles of Iain Burnett.  A chat with Iain himself can also be organised. The group can then enjoy coffees (or sensational hot chocolate!) in the Chocolatier’s delightful cafe, before heading back to Crieff Hydro

Delicious locally-sourced dinner at the Hydro’s sister hotel, the Murray Park, accessed just outside the grounds of the main hotel

3 Day Perthshire Food and Drink Incentive: Day Three

Delicious Scottish breakfast at Crieff Hydro Hotel, before checking out.
A visit to the area’s other renowned distillery, ‘Glenturret’ – a small and scenic farm distillery producing a delicious single malt. The Distillery has a wonderful cafe on site, perfect for lunch or to sample delicious coffee and cake. And you are in good hands especially when the Distillery can boast a fabulous dinner-only restaurant that was recently awarded a Michelin star!
What a way to finish a truly amazing food and drink experience in Perthshire.
Return coach to Edinburgh – a scenic route taking in Stirling, with its dramatic Castle, is an excellent option.
