Scottish Tourism Month
Tuesday 12th – Wednesday 13th March P&J Live, Aberdeen
March is Scottish Tourism Month and an opportunity to amplify the voice of the tourism and hospitality industry, recognising its enormous contribution to Scotland and highlighting the support it needs to overcome the immense challenges it faces to grow sustainably. The flagship event of Scottish Tourism Month 2024, The Signature Conference is being delivered in Aberdeen on Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th March as a collaboration between leading industry trade bodies, the Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA), the Association of Scotland’s Self-Caterers (ASSC) and the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA).
The event is designed to connect, engage, and empower organisations in and related to the sector.
On day one of conference, delegates will hear from: a chief economist of a national banking group, experts sharing future travel and tourism insights, two of the very best global tourism marketeers to highlight our 2024 international campaigns, three of Scotland’s award-winning accommodation and visitor attraction operators to share their top tips on being best in class, four of our leading food tourism ambassadors to talk food tourism, and a Hebridean Baker too.
On day two of conference, while enjoying breakfast, we’ll kick off with one of Scotland’s most well-respected political journalists discussing the future political outlook and future policies with cross party politicians from Westminster and Holyrood and what it means for tourism. Delegates will then hear the thoughts of the UK & Scotland’s well-known tourism and hospitality industry lobbyists. The focus will then shift to Scotland’s national tourism and hospitality strategy, Scotland Outlook 2030, with presentations from transport chiefs, innovators in travel solutions, industry leaders committed to sustainability as well as delivering world-class adventure tourism and outdoor experiences. Delegate will also hear from entrepreneurs embracing community and seizing opportunity, providing inspiration and motivation for us all.
This conference is for everyone and anyone, working in or connected to, Scotland’s number one industry. No matter the type of business you run small or large, independent or corporate, public or private, this year’s Signature Conference is a must-attend event in Aberdeen on the 12th and 13th March.
