30 September | Perthshire talks tourism with Glenshee & Strathardle Tourism Association
Glenshee today is a highlight of the ‘Deeside Tourist Route’ and the gateway to the Cairngorm National Park.
Join this webinar and hear from Kate Hunter, Director of Glenshee Ski Centre about future plans for Glenshee’s mountains of adventure, including plans to develop the UK’s longest zip wire, as well as a series of downhill mountain biking events for 2022.
Glenshee Visitor Centre has a wide range of useful information for visitors, find out about their recent interpretation project which brings to life the myths and legends of the Glen, through the stories of history and heritage of the area.

27 October | Perthshire talks tourism with VisitAberfeldy Tourism Association
In the second webinar as part of this new series tune in and hear from Jonathan Wilson, Chair of VisitAberfeldy and local businesses on how they’re approaching the challenge of sector recruitment, focusing on youth development and apprenticeships.
Even before the current recruitment crisis faced by the hospitality sector, businesses in Highland Perthshire had been embracing the ‘Our Passionate People’ strand of the national strategy Scotland Outlook 2030 to train and inspire the local young talent pool into hospitality careers.
Two local businesses – The Scottish Crannog Centre and Glen Lyon Coffee will also share their best practice around recruitment, challenges and achievements. The Crannog Centre have a very successful apprenticeship programme, while Glenlyon Coffee have established a Barista Academy in conjunction with the local school.

16 December | Perthshire talks tourism with Loch Leven Tourism Association and Kinross Partnership
In this webinar we’ll hear about how the Rural Tourism Infrastructure Fund (RTIF) helped RSPB Scotland Loch Leven to offer better access to and facilities on the Loch Leven Heritage Trail for residents and visitors alike.
Additional internal and external funding helped re-design the RSPB Visitor Centre, increasing capacity and space to engage with visitors and tell the stories of the nature reserve and the wider Loch.

17 January | Perthshire talks tourism with Perthshire Food Tourism Network
A New Year and another webinar, and this time we’re talking food and drink.
Mark Bush, Chair of the Perthshire Food Tourism Network will share how your business can get involved in 2022. We’ll discuss the highlights of the Great Perthshire Food & Drink Festival (held in September 2021); how the group plans to build the festival in 2022 the Year of Stories.
We’ll also be looking at our new food trails and how these will encourage food loving visitors to Perthshire.
