Perth Museum is on track for opening in Spring 2024, with all the key contacts and management plans in place. The venue will be available for exclusive use for MICE business and the General Manager, Katy Jack, ready for the grand opening. The stone of destiny played a starring role in the recent coronation as the stone made its way to London to sit under the throne as a key part for King Charles III coronation.

Perth Museum is a brand new £26.5 million refurbishment of a beautiful historic building in the centre of Perth City, featuring a purpose-built interior designed to house the Stone of Destiny, the most powerful surviving symbol of Scotland’s royal history.

Opening in spring 2024, the museum will tell the story of Perth & Kinross’ Ancient Roots with the historic Stone of Destiny as the museum’s centrepiece. Visitors can expect a 5*, fully accessible, visitor experience that is free at point of entry.
