Blair Castle has been the home of the Atholl family for over seven centuries. The castle has had a diverse history, witnessing both turbulent and peaceful times, enlarged and adapted over 750 years. Home to politicians, soldiers, agriculturalists and entrepreneurs, the family history is brought to life against a backdrop of fine 18th century interiors and Scots Baronial architecture, in 30 rooms.
Blair Castle’s unique history spans the Medieval, Georgian, and Victorian eras right through to the present day. Inside, a range of elegant rooms are available for events, conferences, and private dinners, while the castle gardens provide a picturesque setting for team-building activities.
Set amid 120,000 acres of spectacular Highland Perthshire landscapes, Blair Castle brings together history, character, and natural beauty to create a truly unforgettable venue for your event.
The grand Ballroom can accommodate up to 400 delegates theatre-style, or 80–200 guests for dining and gala dinners. A selection of prestigious smaller rooms is also available, ideal as breakout spaces, meeting rooms, or dining areas.
Beyond the castle walls, the estate offers endless opportunities for memorable activities, from Highland Games and foraging experiences to biking, walking tours, falconry, and archery.
To ensure everything runs smoothly, we provide a dedicated events coordinator, projector and screen, and full AV support. Nearby, guests can choose from luxurious Highland Lodges or more affordable accommodation in Blair Castle Caravan Park.
